Every child has the ability to create.  These lessons, private and group, will enable your child to express his or her creativity through art.

These are not ‘project-based’ classes—they are all about training your fine art skills. Instruction will always begin with the foundation to all art–drawing, then build based on the interests and abilities of the artists.  The world, regardless of how colorful it is, is made up of lines and shapes so every artist starts here.

Pair your lessons with Open Sessions to increase time spent practicing while collaborating with other artists and giving and receiving feedback.

Designed to reveal creativity, broaden artistic skills, and learn new techniques.

Private Lessons

Using artwork your young artist is most proud of, I will evaluate his/her skill level and an individualized curriculum will be created.

  • spend time in each element of design: shape, color, space, form, line, value, and texture.

  • explore mediums your young artist shows interest in—charcoal, pastels, painting, collage, wood burning (pyrography), etc.

  • continue developing your young artist’s creativity and artistic voice.

  • schedule based on your needs—contact information below.
